GORE-TEX Fabric® Repair Kit
The essential field repair kit for all types of repairs including tents, sleeping pads, rainwear, backpacks, boots and more. Kit includes two adhesive backed GORE-TEX® fabric pressure-sensitive patches. Ideal for GORE-TEX and WINDSTOPPER® Fabric. Available in Black, Navy, Tan, Yellow, Red, and Green. Two patches per kit.

REPAIR KIT INSTRUCTIONS
The patches supplied in this kit will provide a temporary water resistant repair for GORE-TEX® fabric products.

• Patches should be kept in sealed plastic bag until used.
• Area to be repaired must be clean and dry.
• Patch will not adhere effectively to loose debris, grease or oil.
• Patch should overlap tear by at least ½" in all directions.
• Remove release paper from back of patch. Lay GORE™ product on a smooth flat surface and apply patch using finger pressure (adhesive side down). Rub patch surface in a circular motion from the center out covering the entire patch area.
• Product can be used immediately; however, the adhesive will continue to strengthen over the next 12 to 24 hours.
• The durability of the patch can be enhanced by applying heat and moderate pressure. Use a clean iron and set to medium heat.  Press with moderate pressure in a circular motion for 30 seconds.

Polartec® Power Shield®
Polartec Power Shield fabrics are the next generation of technical outwear - the soft shell.  This clothing concept goes beyond traditional 2-layer systems, which feature fleece insulation and a waterproof/breathable shell, to a single layer that protects against all but the worst weather conditions and delivers extended breathability, abrasion resistance and stretch to enhance your outdoor experience. Polartec Power Shield fabrics feature a smooth, tightly woven nylon face for abrasion resistance equal or superior to the best shells, but without the stiffness and noise. A polyester velour back that traps air and provides a high warmth-to-weight ratio. Schoeller NanoSphere
Though this fabric looks fairly normal, it incorporates a nanotechnology feature from Schoeller called NanoSphere.  This NanoSphere fabric is water and dirt repellent, anti-adhesive and self-cleaning because it is coated with millions upon millions of microscopic grains of silicon.  This nano tech fabric treatment is modeled from the surface of the lotus leaf making it fractal with no repeating surface structure that oil or stains can bond to.  Scholler Nanosphere fabrics are designed repel dirt and water replacing traditional fleece and shell systems for most outdoor clothing applications.  This reduces the weight and number of layers needed to insulate and protect. It is ideal for skiing, snowboarding, winter climbing, cycling and back-country trekking.  Used in jackets, pants, bibs, hats, and gloves.  It's outerwear that gets worn, not carried. Micro Suede Polyester
100% polyester micro fiber with a soft sanded finish.  Woven tightly with extremely fine fibers, it is very water repellent and still breathable.  In addition, it has a DWR (durable water resistant) finish.  This amazing fabric has the look and feel of a heavy sanded silk fabric that is great for all outerwear and rainwear projects.

Silkara 
A fabric that is constructed with the warp thread out of a colored nylon and the fill thread out of a different color of Antron polyester.  This gives the fabric an iridescent appearance.  In addition, it has a DWR (durable water resistant) finish for added water repellency.  Great for rain coats, shorts, jump suits and jackets. Plus makes great lining fabric (see bag picture to left)!

WeatherMAX 65
This 100% solution dyed polyester incorporates UV resistant characteristics for long-term color and strength retention along with excellent breathablity and abrasion resistance.  The HydroMAX finish raises the bar of hydrostatic performance and delivers unsurpassed water repellency, mildew and oil resistance without relying on environmentally unfriendly coating compounds.  WeatherMAX 65 has anti-microbial properties and a minimum UV resistance of 1000 hours but only weighs 6.5 oz./sq. yard due to the use of a filament rather than a spun yarn like acrylic fabrics.  Excellent for anything from horse blankets to tough outerwear to marine grade tarps.
