Polartec 200 Wind Pro Fleece
A new revolution in thermal fabrics allows you to forgo the use of a shell in all but the most extreme wet or windy conditions. The tight knit construction of the Polartec Wind Pro blocks 95% of the wind, yet is highly breathable. Polartec Wind Pro fabric features a unique suede velour face and a pebbled back or velour/velour finish. Regulator (Waffle) Fleece

WindStop Fleece 
Lightweight  fleece, a windproof membrane and wicking mesh back makes this fabric wear like a light weight sweatshirt with the warmth of thick fleece material. This material is not water resistant, however you can treat it to be water resistant with Nixwax PolarProof.

Polartec 1000 Windbloc Fleece
A special barrier lets windblock fabrics maintain their insulation in windy conditions and remain breathable.  Withstands the equivalent of a 40 mph wind.  In addition, it is water resistant and the inner fleece or mesh has great wicking capabilities.

Schoeller NanoSphere
Though this fabric looks fairly normal, it incorporates a nanotechnology feature from Schoeller called NanoSphere.  This NanoSphere fabric is water and dirt repellent, anti-adhesive and self-cleaning because it is coated with millions upon millions of microscopic grains of silicon.  This nano tech fabric treatment is modeled from the surface of the lotus leaf making it fractal with no repeating surface structure that oil or stains can bond to.  Scholler Nanosphere fabrics are designed repel dirt and water replacing traditional fleece and shell systems for most outdoor clothing applications.  This reduces the weight and number of layers needed to insulate and protect. It is ideal for skiing, snowboarding, winter climbing, cycling and back-country trekking.  Used in jackets, pants, bibs, hats, and gloves.  It's outerwear that gets worn, not carried.
